Erin Diskin, the principal designer of EMD Interiors, wasn't always a designer! After earning her undergraduate degree in Accounting from College of the Holy Cross, she worked at a public accounting firm in Boston for 5 years. Realizing this wasn't her passion, she took a leap of faith and went back to school for interior design. After completing her Master's degree in Interior Design, she worked for an architecture firm on Long Island for 5 years, primarily focusing on hospitality design.
EMD Interiors, LLC was established in 2019 as an outlet to work directly with homeowners, the end users, who get to enjoy the designed spaces. With her attention to detail and ability to truly listen to her clients, she has successfully created beautiful, functional spaces for her clients to enjoy.
Erin lives on Long Island with her husband, Neil, and their two daughters.
